AGRED Call to Action:
Our need is fundamental: financial support in order to secure and increase our grassroots conservation efforts in Africa.
Our research has already yielded several effective prescriptions and training courses - now we need to extend both rescue operations and research efforts, whilst maintaining ground already won.
AGRED has in the last decade created, funded and managed several effective projects resulting in substantial gains for wild gamebirds and gamebird habitats.
AGRED funds are sourced from Membership subscriptions, Donations, Fund-raising events and Merchandise sales. In addition there is an Artists for AGRED program whereby eminent wildlife artists donate a percentage of their artwork sales to the AGRED Trust.
AGRED retains its integrity and independence by being privately funded, managed and audited. The Trust fund is audited by Hogan & Co. of Johannesburg. Expenditure is reviewed and authorised by the AGRED Board of Trustees and implemented by the Management Committee.

Nothing happens without your support!
Use it or Lose it
The simple reality in Africa is that if wildlife does not provide tangible benefits to local economies in the form of income and employment, it will be replaced by resources which do - namely agriculture and livestock.
Solution:
Teach rural communities how to manage their wildlife on a sustainable basis for a tangible return.
How?
By carefully utilizing precious donations, AGRED teaches and implements sound wildlife managment practices at a local level. This is achieved by uniting the strengths of the Government, the best academic minds and resources, corporate and private businesses, local landowners and inhabitants, and ethical sportsmen from around the globe.
The Results:
- Improved standard of living for local citizens*
- Enlightenment of local peoples to the value of their renewable wild resources
- Higher return on resources for the landowner.
- Improved wildlife populations
- Restored habitat for all types of flora and fauna
- Less impact on natural environment

AGRED seeks funding from and/or participatory partnerships with local or international organisations which share the vision of a symbiotic relationship between businesses, private entrepreneurs and the agricultural/rural sector.
PLEASE SUPPORT AGREDs efforts - which provide benefits across the entire spectrum - from tourist dollars and tax revenues, to healthy ecosystems and viable wildlife populations and most importantly, including the local children with whom the future of Africas wildlife lies.
